Getting Started
Travel Logs helps you keep vehicle activity in one place: vehicles, trips, expenses, maintenance, reports, billing, and fleet review workflows.
Start with your first vehicle
Vehicles connect your trips, expenses, maintenance records, and reports.
- Open Vehicles.
- Select Add Vehicle.
- Enter the vehicle plate or registration number.
- Add the make and model, engine capacity, and notes if useful.
- Save the vehicle.
If you have no vehicles yet, Travel Logs may create a default vehicle so you can start recording activity right away.
Record day-to-day activity
Use the main navigation to add records:
- Trips for mileage, routes, odometer readings, trip type, vehicle, dates, and notes.
- Expenses for vehicle costs, categories, deductions, receipt photos, dates, and notes.
- Maintenances for service records, odometer readings, maintenance items, costs, photos, and notes.
Each list includes tools for filtering by date and vehicle, searching record notes or descriptions, changing visible columns, selecting multiple records, and deleting selected records.
Review your dashboard
Open Dashboard to review trip and expense activity. The dashboard gives you a quick view of recent tracking data without opening each record list.
Submit records to a fleet
If your account has access to a Fleet plan and you belong to a fleet, you can submit trips, expenses, and maintenance records to a team for review.
Submitted fleet records can move through review statuses such as pending, approved, or rejected. Fleet reviewers and record owners can use comments on submitted records to ask questions, request corrections, and keep the review conversation attached to the record.
Create reports
Use Reports to generate PDF reports for trips, expenses, or maintenance records. Choose a date period, report type, and vehicle, then download the PDF or create and save the report for later.
Manage your plan
Open Settings > Subscription to view your current plan and billing source. Free accounts can get started with limited usage, while paid plans unlock unlimited trips, expenses, and maintenance tracking. Fleet plans also unlock fleet management, fleet reports, and team review tools.
