Subscription Troubleshooting

Use this guide if Travel Logs still shows the Free plan, reports trial limits, or does not recognise your paid subscription.

For other tracking, sync, or automation issues, see Tracking, Sync, Automation, and Subscription Troubleshooting.

Start with these checks

Confirm:

  • You are signed in to the same Travel Logs account that owns the subscription.
  • The device is online.
  • You opened Settings > Account > Manage Subscription to refresh the current plan view.
  • You know whether the subscription is managed through the App Store or the web billing portal.

If the app still shows Free or trial limits

Open Settings > Account > Manage Subscription and review the plan name and status there.

If the page shows Free, continue with the matching section below.

App Store subscriptions

If the subscription was bought through the App Store, Travel Logs needs the mobile app account and the App Store purchase to match. If you have changed Travel Logs account, you will need to contact us as the App Store purchase is linked to your initial Travel Logs account that you signed in.

Try this:

  1. Open Settings > Account.
  2. Select Manage subscription or the account section that shows billing.
  3. Use Restore Purchases.
  4. Wait for the app to refresh the plan status.

If you recently signed in on a new device, restore purchases there as well.

Web billing subscriptions

If the subscription was bought through the web checkout flow, manage it in the billing portal instead of the App Store.

Check that:

  • The same Travel Logs account is signed in on the device.
  • The billing portal still shows the subscription as active.
  • The subscription has not expired or been canceled.

See Billing and Subscriptions for the billing portal flow.

If the wrong account is signed in

Subscription status will not transfer between different Travel Logs accounts.

If the app looks correct on one device but not another, compare the signed-in email address on both devices and sign back in with the correct account before restoring purchases or retrying sync.

When plan limits still appear

If the plan is managed through the App Store, run Restore Purchases on the plan selection page again after confirming the correct account is signed in and restart your device.
